This week I was able to photograph the Women in Tech Night, which took place on January 19th in LBCC's new MILL, or Maker and Innovation Learning Lab. The event had many opportunities for attendees to try out different activities and familiarize themselves with the space, a panel featuring four local women working in tech fields, and a networking hour to interact with professionals working in tech fields.
The event promoted inclusivity within education and the field, and making more knowledge of STEM careers available to everyone, encouraging anyone with an interest to take part in helping take part in this mission.
